The first one will start in Fethiye, Göcek between 8-12 May 2025 Superyacht Show Türkiye 2025 is set to make a name for itself among international boat shows around the world. SuperYacht Times Special Reporter Emma Dailey meets with the producers behind this unmissable four-day event to find out how they are strengthening the Turkish yachting industry and breaking the boat show mould.
At the fair, visitors will be able to examine traditional Turkish wooden gulets as well as state-of-the-art structures. Additionally, exhibiting companies will showcase their forward-thinking concepts and international yacht launches, and keynote speakers will share their views on the latest industry trends.

Despite its coastal location, large-scale maritime fairs are rare in Göcek, as many boat shows flock to densely populated Istanbul. Yet often overlooked, Göcek is a prime spot on many yachting routes, boasting an impressive seven fully equipped marinas in total. Owner Mehmet Kabak has even bigger ambitions for the area’s future, explaining, “Our aim is to hold three sectoral events in this area every year, including a boat show.”
Why Superyacht Show Türkiye 2025?
Superyacht Show Türkiye One of the most striking aspects is the location mentioned in its name. “According to the latest reports,” Kabak said, “Turkey ranks second in the world in yacht production. We have a significant number of shipyards offering specialized production and a variety of options, and we also have the potential to provide all technical support.”

Kabak continued, “We think that Turkey’s production power is not emphasized enough in fairs organized within the country and that international participation is generally lower than expected. Göcek offers us a unique advantage in this regard.”
Moreover, the dynamism of yacht tourism in the region is perfectly integrated with the entertainment activities and evening events to be organized throughout the four days, creating an ideal springboard for communicating with yachting enthusiasts and experts.
Expanding Turkey’s horizons
“Turkey is almost a peninsula, and while maritime culture was initially prevalent in coastal cities, it has recently spread inland,” Kabak explained. The country has seen a surge in the past five years in particular, as increases in logistics capacity have “brought us very close to key yacht manufacturing countries like Italy and the Netherlands,” Kabak said.
More and more yacht builders are diving into refit operations and many refit companies are taking the initiative to move to full-scale production, making it a destination for every stage of the ship’s life cycle and a global player in yachting. “We can also observe that Turkish companies are achieving significant sales figures in the global market,” Kabak added.

Keeping up with the latest trends
As a brand new event, Superyacht Show Türkiye Many of its exhibits will focus on relevant and popular topics within the yachting industry. One of these topics will be sustainability, as the show will look at eco-friendly yacht designs and technology that works to reduce their environmental footprint. There will also be a special focus on the growing demand for custom yachts, examining the industry’s shift to pioneering customization.
“Another trend is the integration of advanced technologies such as smart connectivity and AI-powered navigation systems that enhance both performance and the overall experience of yachting. Furthermore, the rise of experiential travel has led to a greater emphasis on creating unique and immersive experiences for yacht owners and charter clients. Through our event, we aim to showcase these trends and provide a platform for industry professionals to connect, exchange ideas and explore the future of yachting,” commented Kabak.
Reaching a new customer base
Heyecan verici gemi yelpazesi, yüksek profilli anlaşmalar ve ortaklıkların sergilendiği Superyacht Show Türkiye 2025 provides an excellent platform for yacht builders, designers and suppliers to reach new customers.
“We make it a priority to maximize the use of national and international publications, social media and our extensive network,” Kabak explained. “Based on ticket sales, attendee profiles and the diversity of our conference speakers, it is clear that there is significant interest from different countries and various sectors of the industry. We are confident that this will contribute to increasing the potential for new customers during the show.”

A thriving boat show with long-term potential
Initially established with the aim of organizing three sectoral events each year, The Superyacht Show Türkiye The first event of the team was held on November 23, 2024. At the event, known as the “First International Women in Yachting” conference, 13 international professional women from different sectors of the industry came together and shared their experiences with other women in the industry.
“Expanding our conferences to other cities and countries and turning this into a traditional format Superyacht Show Türkiye “As a Boat Show, it is definitely among our long-term goals. Regarding the Boat Show, we aim to go beyond marinas and event venues by integrating the entire Göcek region into the event. Our vision is to create a central area where yachting and sea enthusiasts can come together regularly,” Kabak concluded.
